The LD-CAST project aims at specifying, developing and evaluating an integrated network of seamless interoperable public services to businesses in the context of the Enlarged Europe. It provides both a local and global (e.g. interregional, cross-border) cooperation framework, to allow any Chamber of Commerce to easily open a Local Agency to work as access point of an EU Global Agency, being able to exploit services provided by all participating organisations. |
This network is be accompanied by a coherent set of guidelines for realizing and exploiting onestop model platforms at all levels (European, national, regional and local) compliant with the European Interoperability Framework (EIF) guidelines without requiring specific changes in working procedures and systems of the participating organisations. Small and Medium Enterprises may easier develop their business if they have access to trustful systems that make accessible a multitude of trans-border services and applications for business developmen.
