LD-CAST Project

Why LD-CAST
The LD-CAST project aims at proposing a cooperation framework for local system development.

This framework will include: 

  • A description of one-stop model Local Agency, its benefits and barriers
  • A reference business model including a re-engineering methodology and process reconfiguration methods
  • A QoS (Quality of Service) reference model to establish agreements on the basic level of services shall be guaranteed by Chambers of commerce and on the basic level of identity management required for Service Requestors
  • A roadmap for public institutions (and other organizations) wishing to establish Local Agencies




The project also aims at specifing, designing, developing, testing and evaluating an integrated, interoperable platform for realizing one-stop Local Agency through the use of business episodes.

The LD-CAST project consortium will validate the prototype through an integrated field test that will mainly address the internationalization to allow Italian enterprises to establish business partnerships with enterprises in eastern countries.
Italian firms will send business partnership requests and receive candidatures matching the provided profile to evaluate through their Local Agencies.

Eastern Countries firms matching the profile will receive business partnership requests and execute their candidature by completing the required information through their Local Agencies.
